In May 2009, I started writing a haiku every day and posting it on Twitter.
In 2012, I decided to up my game by inscribing my daily haiku on a postcard and mailing it to someone selected at random. From March 1, 2012 to November 26, 2014, I mailed 1,001 postcards to as many people.
That’s a lot of haiku. How much haiku? You can see all 1,001 postcards here.
Round 2
On August 1, 2022, I resumed the practice of sending haiku postcards. A lot happened in my life between my last postcard in November 2014 and 2022, but my passion for haiku only grew, so I brought back the postcard project.

Who do I think I am anyway?
My fiction and poetry have appeared in many publications, most of them defunct. A graduate of Ithaca College, I'm also a two-year veteran of the Creative Writing Workshop at Cornell University. In 2014, my novel Sleepwalking in Paradise: A San Francisco Novel was published by Numina Press, now also defunct.
